About Charlotte

Charlotte SkilesCharlotte Kikel has experienced numerous health challenges in her life, many of which stemmed back to her early childhood. As she matured, Charlotte’s quality of life continued to decrease and conventional medicine failed her. Despite these obstacles, she searched for answers to her health concerns and made the changes necessary to increase her vitality. She now possesses a sense of well being she never thought possible and credits her transformation with learning how to listen to and trust her body. Utilizing whole foods, medicinal herbs, and lifestyle changes, Charlotte has devoted her life to guiding others to their own individual sense of wellness. Her rare combination of personal experience, formal education, and commitment to practicing what she teaches makes her a compassionate and inspiring practitioner. In addition to conducting private consultations, Charlotte lectures often in her community about the role of herbs and whole foods in the pursuit of wellness.

In April 2008, Charlotte graduated from the Tai Sophia Institute of the Healing Arts located in Laurel, MD with Masters of Science in Herbal Medicine. This is a one of kind, rigorous, 3-year clinical program designed to build a bridge between the practice of traditional and conventional medicine. In 2004, Charlotte graduated from the Nutrition Consultant program at Bauman College in Santa Cruz, CA and at that point founded Eat in Peace Wellness Consulting. Charlotte also completed a therapeutic massage therapy program at the Monterey Institute of Touch in Carmel Valley, CA in 2002. She finished her undergraduate studies in business administration and comparative religion at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX in 1998. Committed to continuing education, Charlotte spends many weekends studying at nutrition and herbal seminars so that she can better serve her clientele.
